BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Follow the Princeton women's basketball team's third and final game of the Preseason WNIT Saturday evening from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., when the Tigers take on the Delaware State Hornets. 7:16: Some final stats: Cowher led Princeton with 24 points and eight boards, and Micir had 12 points and eight boards, both career bests for the rookie. Palmer led Delaware State with 16 while Burbage had 14 and Wakefield 13. Princeton outshot DSU 49 percent (24 of 49) to 37.7 percent (26 of 69). The Tigers had 24 turnovers to Del State's 16, and DSU outrebounded Princeton 40-34. Twenty of the Hornets' rebounds were on the offensive end.
7:14: Princeton is unable to get up a shot on its last possession and the Hornets hold on, 63-62.
