Revised Tampa Tournament Schedule Announced for Princeton Softball

TAMPA, Fla. -- With the rain Friday morning halting Princeton's opener at the USF Speedline Invitational, tournament organizers have announced a new schedule.
Princeton's opener against Boston University, originally scheduled for 10 a.m., was interrupted by rain in the bottom of the after one scoreless inning. It will be resumed this evening at 5 p.m. at the point of suspension.
Princeton will now play two scheduled games on Saturday, and all bracket play will be pushed to Sunday in the revised bracket play. The Tigers will face Indiana at 10 a.m. Saturday followed by a noon game against Buffalo.
Sunday, the four teams that finish first in each of the four pools will play in a single-elimination mini bracket of one to two games for each team. The second-, third- and fourth-place finishers will follow the same format.
