Malcolm Completes Men's Swimming/Diving Season At NCAA Championships

Junior diver Stuart Malcolm represented the 2007 EISL champion Princeton men's swimming and diving team at the NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, Minn. The veteran Tiger competed in both the 3-meter and platform preliminaries, although he was unable to reach one of the finals in either competition. Still, reaching the NCAAs as a junior should lead into a successful senior campaign next year.
Malcolm won his NCAA Zone regional competition in platform diving two weeks ago, which punched his ticket to the NCAA championships. He began with the 3-meter competition, where he placed 33rd overall with 267.75 points.
He followed that up with the platform competition, where he placed 24th overall with 240.70 points. Only the top 16 advance to one of the two finals competitions, so Malcolm's weekend ended with the platform preliminaries.
