Men's Golf to Host Princeton Invitational This Weekend

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Fifteen men's golf teams will converge on Springdale Golf Club this weekend as the Tigers will host the Princeton Invitaitonal, a 54-hole event Saturday and Sunday.
The event is the last tournament for Princeton before the Ivy League Championships take place April 21-22. A year ago, Columbia edged the Tigers by two shots in the 2006 event. The Princeton Invitational has been scheduled every year since 1987, and this year's event will be the 20th played as only the 2003 tournament was rained out.
This year's tournament will include Columbia, George Mason, George Washington, Georgetown, St. Bonaventure, Navy, Penn, Rider, Rutgers, St. John's, Saint Joseph's, Temple, Towson and Villanova in addition to the host Tigers.
Springdale Golf Club, located on the southwestern side of the Princeton campus, is a par-71 course with 6,390 yards for this event. There are three par-fives, including the eighth, 10th and 14th holes, and four par-threes, with the second, ninth, 13th and 15th holes.

8:05, 1st tee: Towson, Saint Joseph's, St. Bonaventure
8:27, 10th tee: Princeton, St. John's, Georgetown
8:50, 1st tee: George Mason, Penn, Columbia
9:10, 10th tee: Rutgers, Temple, George Washington
9:35, 1st tee: Individuals
Sunday:
8:30, 10th tee: 13th-15th place teams
8:50, 1st tee: Individuals
8:59, 1st tee: 7th-9th place teams
9:12, 10th tee: 10th-12th place teams
9:44, 1st tee: 1st-3rd place teams
9:55, 10th tee: 4th-6th place teams
