Men's Golf to Finish Season at Penn State's Rutherford Invite

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Penn State will host the 54-hole Rutherford Intercollegiate tournament this weekend in which Princeton will be one of 12 teams as the Tigers cap their 2007 spring season.
It is the last of five spring tournaments for Princeton this year and the last in the careers of two Tiger seniors, All-Ivy honoree John Sawin and Brent Herlihy.
The tournament will feature 36 holes Saturday as the Tigers will tee off at 8:15 a.m. Eighteen holes will follow Sunday at the 7,228-yard, par-72 Blue Course in State College, Pa.
Other teams in the tournament are Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, George Mason, Liberty, Morehead State, Seton Hall, Towson, Villanova, Wright State and Youngstown State in addition to the Tigers and host Penn State.
With a mid-March tournament in Arizona, Princeton played in events on four of five weekends through April 21-22, when Princeton finished sixth at the Ivy meet, heading into the season finale in Pennsylvania.
