Men's Swim/Diving Returns With 149-94 Win At Dartmouth

The Princeton men's swimming and diving team swept both relays and won six individual events in a 149-94 EISL and Ivy League matchup against Dartmouth Sunday afternoon. Juniors Will Schaffer and Doug Lennox led the way as Princeton returned from exam break and maintained its perfect record.
The meet opened with a Princeton win in the 200 medley relay. The team of Colin Hanna, Schaffer, Lennox and Michael Carter won in 1:37.03, topping teammates Peter Fellowes, John Bannon, Michael Baity and P.J. Biggs (1:40.22) by more than three seconds.
Lennox opened the individual sessions by winning the 400 IM in 4:04.22, which was exactly six seconds faster than teammate Dan Eckel. Teammate Jon Hartmann gave Princeton an IM sweep by winning the 200 in 53.86 seconds, while teammate Bern Ebersole finished second in 54.83.
Senior Stuart Malcolm earned a tight win over talented Dartmouth diver Andrew Berry in the 1-meter competition. Malcolm scored 319.95 points, while Berry finished second with 315.50 points. The two reversed positions in the 3-meter competition, and sophomore Dan Dickerson placed third in both competitions.
Schaffer claimed the 100 fly in 51.70, edging out teammate Carter (51.92), and freshman Brett Lullo won an all-Princeton Class of 2011 battle in the 500 free. His time of 4:43.19, which topped classmate Colin Hanna's time of 4:44.55. Chris Quemana finished the individual session with a win in the 100 breast (59.40). The team of Geoff Faux, Carter, Michael Baity and Lennox finished the meet by winning the 200 free relay in 1:24.31.
