NEW YORK, N.Y. (10/18/08) ? The Princeton University men's soccer team won its second straight game by shutout, blanking Columbia 2-0 on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Columbia Soccer Stadium. With the win, the Tigers extend their unbeaten streak over the Lions to six.
Princeton dominated the game, taking 19 shots to Columbia's eight. Despite having a 10-1 shot differential in the first half, the Tigers couldn't put the ball away, with Columbia's goalkeeper Alex Aurrichio making three saves.
Senior Jason Adams put Princeton on the scoreboard first, at 55:40, tallying his first collegiate goal. During a scramble in front of the net, the ball deflected to Adams who was wide open at the goal line and was able to easily knock the ball in.

Aurrichio finished the game with seven saves, with a defender picking up a team save on a Ben Harms shot just minutes before Walburn's goal. Senior Joe Walter only needed to make one save in his third win of the season and second shutout of the season.
