Men's Golf Ties for Fifth at Ivy League Championships

GALLOWAY, N.J. -- Evan Harmeling and Max Schechter tied for tops among Tigers as the Princeton men's golf team finished fifth at the Ivy League Championships Sunday.
Columbia won the team title by nine shots over Yale with Penn and Harvard rounding out the top half. Princeton tied with Cornell, with Dartmouth and Brown completing the field. Penn's Michael Blodgett won the individual title at +5 by three shots over Brown's Larry Haertel.
Harmeling (74, 77, 81) and Schechter (75, 75, 82) tied for 15th at +19. Juan Pablo Candela tied for 20th at +22 with his 74, 79 and 82, while Greg Stamas tied for 28th at +25 with his 83, 79 and 76. Andrew Maliniak was the fifth Tiger, taking 31st place at +27 with an 82, 78 and 80.
The Tigers will complete their season next weekend at Virginia's Cavalier Classic.
