Tinney, VanLeuven Reach Regional Qualifying Standards At Mt. SAC Relays

A pair of Princeton athletes, Frank Tinney and Jolee VanLeuven, ran for Princeton at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays in California this past weekend, and both earned NCAA regional qualifying standards in their respective events.
Tinney, a senior, ran the 5,000 meters on Friday night and finished with an outstanding time of 13:55.21. His time was the third-best among collegiate runners in the race.
Later in the evening, VanLeuven ran in the 10,000-meter women's invitational race and qualfied for regionals with a time of 34:15.61.
