Men's Golf Finishes 15th at Season-Ending Virginia Tournament

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Rookie Evan Harmeling tied for fifth on the individual leaderboard as the Princeton men's golf team finished 15th of 21 schools at its season-ending Cavalier Classic in Virginia Sunday.
Harmeling finished at -2 for the weekend with a 69 Saturday and a 73 Sunday. That was three shots behind tournament winner Henrik Norlander of Augusta State, who won by one shot over North Carolina State's Brad Revell and tournament-winning Virginia's Greg Carlin. Old Dominion's John Murphy was at -3, one shot in front of Harmeling.
Virginia finished at 1-under as a team, winning its home tournament by three shots over Augusta State.
Andrew Maliniak tied for 62nd at +11 with a 74 and 81, with Max Schechter (T75th, +13, 72-85) and Juan Pablo Candela (T83rd, +15, 78-81) completed Princeton's scoring foursome. Eric Salazar finished 109th at +28 with an 87 and 85.
