Men's Golf to Host Princeton Invitational Saturday-Sunday

PRINCETON -- Fourteen teams will join Princeton men's golf for its 22nd annual home invitational this Saturday and Sunday at Springdale Golf Club.
Columbia, Cornell, George Mason, George Washington, Georgetown, Penn, Rider, Rutgers, St. Bonaventure, St. John's, Saint Joseph's, Temple, Towson and Villanova will be competing in the event. St. John's won last year's team title by four shots over Princeton in a nearly identical field with Cornell taking the place of Navy this time around. Princeton's John Sawin won the individual title.
The course at Springdale, which was reconfigured with the opening of a new clubhouse last year at the opposite end of the course, remains a par-71 and will play 6,390 yards for the Princeton Invitational.
Saturday's tee times are as follows, with Sunday's determined by the order of finish after Saturday's two rounds of continuous play.
7:45 a.m. (1st tee): Temple, Rider, Villanova
8:05 a.m. (10th tee): Towson, Saint Joseph's, Columbia
8:27 a.m. (1st tee): Princeton, St. John's, Georgetown
8:50 a.m. (10th tee): George Mason, Penn, St. Bonaventure, Princeton Individuals
9:10 a.m.: Rutgers, Cornell, George Washington.
Teams in the bottom three places after Saturday will begin their Sunday at 8:30 a.m., while the top three teams will begin teeing off at 9:55 a.m.
