January 30, 2009 | Men's Track and Field, Women's Track and Field
PRINCETON, N.J. (1/30/09) - The Princeton men and women's track and field teams will compete at the Penn State National Open this weekend. The two-day event will feature over 40 teams at the Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track.
Some of the nation's top track and field teams will be competing, including: No. 4 Tennessee, No. 7 Va Tech, No. 14 Penn State and No. 22 Kentucky on the women's side. As well as, No. 3 Arkansas, No. 11 Kentucky and No. 21 Georgetown on the men's side.
Fans willing to pay the fee of $5.95 can watch the action live via Penn State All-Access. The broadcast will focus primarily on coverage of Penn State's participation in numerous track events, including many finals, as well as the high jump, triple jump and long jump, which also take place inside the track area. Due to the location they are held, the throwing events will regrettably not be part of the webcast.
