Golf Teams Head for Monday-Tuesday Tourneys in Midwest

PRINCETON -- Princeton's golf teams will head to the Midwest for events Monday and Tuesday as their fall seasons continue.
The women's team will visit the Johnie Imes Invitational, hosted by the University of Missouri at The Club at Old Hawthorne. Joining Princeton and host Missouri are Arkansas-Little Rock, Bradley, Florida International, Illinois State, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Middle Tennessee State, Missouri-Kansas City, Missouri State, Mississippi, Redlands Community College, Southern Illinois, Tulsa and Wisconsin. The course is a par-72 measuring 6,204 yards with 36 holes to be played Monday and 18 Tuesday. Princeton placed seventh of 18 schools at last year's event.
Princeton's men will head to the Xavier Invitational at Oasis Golf Club in Loveland, Ohio. The other teams in attendance will be Akron, Austin Peay, Ball State, Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Dayton, DePaul, Eastern Kentucky, Marquette, Marshall and host Xavier. Monday will see 36 holes followed by 18 Tuesday for a total of three rounds on the 6,921-yard, par-72 course. At last season's event, Princeton tied with Xavier for 14th of 18 schools.
The Missouri tournament will be the last of the fall for the women, while the men will have two more in October before ending the fall season.
