Luis Nicolao, Daniel Dickerson Join DeNunzio-Dominated TigerCast
December 03, 2009 | Men's Swimming and Diving, Men's Water Polo
Men's water polo head coach Luis Nicolao, on the eve of the NCAA semifinals, and men's swimming and diving tri-captain Daniel Dickerson join the latest edition of TigerCast.
Nicolao will lead the Princeton men's water polo team into Saturday's NCAA semifinal match with #1 USC; the entire NCAA championship weekend will be held at DeNunzio Pool, the first time the NCAAs have ever been held on the East Coast. Nicolao, who nearly led Princeton to a shocking NCAA semifinal upset in 2004, talks about the Eastern championship win over Navy and the excitement of hosting the championship weekend.
Dickerson is coming off one of the most remarkable performances in recent Princeton diving history. After not winning a single individual league title during his career, the current senior tr-captain won both the 1- and 3-meter diving titles at the 2009 Ivy League Championship meet. Dickerson talks about his diving career and his early feelings about the 2009-10 Princeton squad.
