Men's Swimming/Diving Goes Wire To Wire At Bucknell Invite

The Princeton men's swimming and diving team completed a wire-to-wire victory at the Bucknell Invitational Sunday evening. The Tigers, who also picked up a dual victory over Brown, topped the rest of the field by more than 480 points.
Princeton won the three-day meet with 1609 points, while Columbia placed second with 1125.5 points and host Bucknell took third with 1100 points.
The Sunday championship session began with Colin Hanna winning the mile in 15:44.03, more than 11 seconds faster than the rest of the field. Junior teammate Patrick Biggs placed third in the event in 15:56.70.
Sophomore Colin Cordes made it two wins in two events when he won the 200 back in 1:48.90. Senior tri-captain Christopher Quemena took second in the 100 free in 45.50, while sophomore Jonathan Christensen posted a B-cut in winning the 200 breast in 1:59.89, the only sub-2:00 time in the field.
The final individual race of the three-day meet also went to Princeton, as junior Brett Lullo won the 200 fly in 1:511.60. The same held true for the final relay, as the team of Cordes, Will Lawley, Quemena and Jonathan Hartmann won the 400 free relay in 3:02.41.
