PRINCETON, N.J. (2/14/09) - Three Tigers were in double-digit scoring to lead the Princeton women's basketball to a 66-41 win over Brown on Saturday, Feb. 14 at Jadwin Gym. "The depth that we have not only makes our practices competitive and improves the level of play our of starting team, but it has made them better able to compete and that was evident tonight," Coach Banghart said. "We needed their lift. Caitlin was a real difference maker in the pace of our offense. I think we needed to know we could execute on the offensive end at a better pace and that's exactly what we did."
Brown reached within seven, 19-12, at 8:29 before Princeton went off on a 10-1 run in the next two minutes to take a 29-13 lead. Each team scored six points in final six minutes to give the Tigers a 35-19 edge at halftime.
