Tennis Teams to Continue Spring Seasons This Weekend

PRINCETON -- The Princeton tennis teams will continue their spring seasons this weekend with more non-league matches as the Ivy League season looms one month away.
The men's team (2-3) will be on the Jadwin Gym indoor courts against St. John's at 2 p.m. Saturday. St. John's enters the weekend at 4-3 and has competed against four Ivy schools already this season, losing to Harvard, Cornell and Columbia while defeating Dartmouth. College of Charleston (2-3) will meet the Tigers at 2 p.m. Sunday. The matches will begin a five-match homestand leading up to the spring trip to Southern California before the Ivy season begins Mar. 28.
The No. 56 women's team (8-4) has won five of its last six, sweeping three matches in the span of little more than 24 hours last weekend in its last home matches until April. Up this weekend for the Tiger women are No. 36 Virginia Commonwealth (9-4) at 3 p.m. Saturday and No. 31 William & Mary (3-3) at 11 p.m. Sunday. It will be back-to-back Ivy opponents for the Tribe, who will also host Harvard Saturday.
