Women's Water Polo Downs Whittier 12-4

The Princeton women's water polo team swept both games on its final day in California on its Spring Break trip. Princeton started the day with a 12-4 win at Whittier and finished it with a 14-9 win at Chapman.
Princeton scored six goals in the opening quarter to pull away from Whittier in the win. The Tigers extended their lead throughout the game in picking up their 11th win of the season.
In addition to Bowles' career scoring high, senior Liz Dilday, senior Claire Jacobson, junior Phoebe Champion and sophomore Lauren Brunner scored two goals. Freshman Kristen Ward made 11 saves and junior Helen Meigs had five assists.
