Men's Golf to Open Spring Season Friday, Saturday at Marshall Invitational

PRINCETON -- Marshall University's Guyan Golf and Country Club will be the site for the Princeton men's golf team's first tournament of the spring season this Friday and Saturday in Huntington, W. Va.
It will be the second straight year the Tigers have played in the event, which is a three-round format with two rounds Friday and one Saturday. Guyan's course is set as a par-71 with a 6,484-yard distance.
Princeton will be one of 16 teams in the event, along with Ball State, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Davidson, DePaul, Eastern Kentucky, Illinois, Marshall, Miami (Ohio), Northern Illinois, Ohio, Richmond, William & Mary, Wright State and Xavier. Play will begin in a shotgun format at 8:30 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.
The Princeton Invitational will follow next weekend with the Ivy League Championship coming over the last weekend in April.
