PRINCETON -- Seniors Peter Capkovic and Alex Vuckovic have been named to All-Ivy teams, the league announced Friday.
Capkovic was selected to the first-team All-Ivy, his third straight such honor, while he and Vuckovic were second-team all-league in doubles. Vuckovic was an Ivy honorable mention, the first All-Ivy singles and doubles honors of his career.
Capkovic, who was the Ivy League Player of the Year last season, was a unanimous first-team All-Ivy selection after posting a 5-0 record in Ivy matches he completed. Overall, Capkovic was 18-13 in singles and 14-5 in singles play in dual meets, playing at No. 1 singles every time.
Vuckovic was 3-4 in the Ivy, 15-13 overall and 12-8 in dual matches, most often at No. 2 singles. Vuckovic also played first and third at points during the season.
Together, Capkovic and Vuckovic went 14-13 overall in doubles matches, 10-10 in dual meets and 3-3 in Ivy play.
Princeton finished 11-10 overall and 3-4 in the Ivy, a two-match improvement in the league from 2008.
