Aboff Makes Par on First Day at NCAA East Regional

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Princeton senior Susannah Aboff is in the clubhouse with an even-par 70 through one round of the NCAA East Regional at Bostick Golf Course at the University of Florida.
Aboff is currently the top individual whose team is not in the top eight, but some high-scoring individuals whose teams are in the sixth through eighth positions on the team scoreboard could bump Aboff if their teams do not qualify.
Through one round, East Carolina, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Denver, Virginia, North Carolina, Tulane and Tennessee are the top eight teams, but just five shots separate eighth from ninth with two rounds (and four scoring players per team) left to play. Even-par is the individual cutline at present.
