God save the Queen, and hoist the Jack. The English are coming to Princeton, only a few yards from Nassau Hall, where the Continental Congress met shortly after the end of the Revolutionary War.
The Children's BBC will be filming the season finale of "Trade Your Way To The USA" - somewhat like "The Apprentice," only for children - during this Saturday's Princeton-Brown football game in Princeton Stadium.
The final of "Trade Your Way To The USA" will feature two teams of three English children, ages 12-14, who will be competing to see who can sell the most cookies and candy in the Princeton Stadium stands during the Princeton-Brown game.
The two teams advanced to the final by outlasting a field that began with 14 three-person teams in competitions that have been held in England. The football game will be the first of those competitions that has taken place at a sporting event.
The teams arrived in the U.S. and toured New York City in advance of their time in Princeton. They will arrive on campus on Friday, when they will film segments with the band and cheerleaders. Princeton head football coach Bob Surace will also meet with the kids on Friday.
Then, during the game Saturday, camera crews will follow the finalist through the stands as they hawk their items. The Children's BBC and the contestants have been working closely with Stu Orefice, Princeton's Director of Dining Services, in preparation for the day.
The winning team will receive the title of England's best young traders.
Kickoff for Princeton-Brown is 1 p.m.
