Oct. 14 TigerCast, Presented By PNC Bank: Jolie Ward, James Perry
October 14, 2010 | Football
Head women's volleyball coach Jolie Ward and football offensive coordinator James Perry are guests on the Oct. 14 edition of TigerCast.
Ward has led the women's volleyball team to an impressive 3-0 start in Ivy League play; the three wins are made more impressive by the fact that two have come against the last two Ivy League champions (Penn, 2009 and Yale, 2008). While sophomore outside hitter Lydia Rudnick has led the way and earned two Ivy League Player of the Week honors, a consistent team performance has been crucial to this quick Ivy start. Ward walks about the last two weeks and an important home weekend coming up, which will be the Tigers' "Dig Pink" weekend in Dillon Gym.
Perry, a former Ivy League Player of the Year while playing quarterback at Brown, will face his alma mater as the offensive coordinator at Princeton. The Tigers are off to a 1-3 start, and Perry addresses some of the good and bad he's seen from the offense over the first four weeks. He talks about the play of Tommy Wornham and previews a solid Brown defense.
