Four Wins Open Play for Men's Tennis at ITA Regional

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Dan Richardson, Alex Faust, Augie Bloom, Matt Spindler, Matija Pecotic and Matt Siow were all winners on the first day of main-draw competition at the ITA Northeast Regional Friday hosted by Yale.
Richardson and Faust won two of the three singles matches the Tigers played Friday, while Augie Bloom fell in the first round of singles play and Spindler, Pecotic and Siow all had byes into the second round. Bloom will continue in consolation singles play.
In doubles play, Bloom and Spindler teamed up for a win, as did Pecotic and Siow, while Faust and Yohei Shoji fell in their first-round match. Play will continue Saturday for the two winning Tiger pairs.
