Men's Golf Through One Round at Rhode Island Tournament

CHARLESTOWN, R.I. -- Princeton's men's golf team stands tied for 12th at The Classic at Shelter Harbor, hosted by Rhode Island at the Shelter Harbor Golf Club.
At the 16-team tournament that includes all eight Ivy programs, defending Ivy champion Columbia leads the field at +15, one shot ahead of Harvard and three ahead of Rhode Island. The Rams' Taylor Fontaine carded a 1-under 70, leading second-place Tony Grillo of Harvard by one shot.
Among Tigers, Bernie D'Amato leads, tied for 16th overall after a 4-over 75.
