Oct. 7 TigerCast: Steve Dolan, Jim Salgado
October 07, 2010 | Football
Men's cross country head coach Steve Dolan and assistant football coach Jim Salgado join the Oct. 7 edition of TigerCast.
Dolan has led the Tiger men to a No. 12 national ranking midway through the cross country season. Princeton topped three nationally ranked programs at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational to jump more than 10 spots in the rankings. Dolan talks about the season, including the early success of junior Donn Cabral, who won the Wisconsin Invitational and was a runner-up at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Salgado is the defensive backs coach and special teams coordinator for the football team, which will begin a three-game homestand this Saturday against Patriot League power Colgate. Salgado talks about some of the problems that arose in the Ivy League opener at Columbia and previews a Raider squad coming off a 31-point win over Georgetown last weekend.
