PRINCETON (11/27/10) - The Princeton women's basketball team will face its first ranked opponent of the season when it takes on No. 22/24 Vanderbilt in the championship game of the Vanderbilt Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 28. Tip off is at 2 p.m., local time.

The Commordoes made it to the championship game with dominant 111-53 win over Quinnipiac on Friday, in the first game of the tournament. Vanderbilt has never lost in its 12-year history of the Thanksgiving Tournament, going 23-0. Five players were in double digits against the Bobcats led by Elan Brown's double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Tiffany Clarke also put up a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Jence Rhoads added 16 points and Hannah Tuomi contributed 15. Jasmine Lister had 12 points. The Commodoes shot 51.4 percent from the floor, 71.8 from the free-throw line and 37.5 from long range.
Princeton reached the championship game with a stunning 60-59 win over USC, the Tigers first win over a Pac-10 team in program history. Devona Allgood recorded her first double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Niveen Rasheed led the team in scoring with 18 points and had six rebounds, three assists and two steals. Lauren Edwards added seven points and 10 rebounds, while Addie Micir contributed 10 points. As a team Princeton shot 32.8 percent from the floor, 80 percent from the line and 26.7 percent from long range.
These teams have meet three times with Vanderbilt winning all three games. The last time these teams met was in 2008 with the Commodores taking an 81-48 game.
