Salazar Posts 70 as Men's Golf Stands 16th in Virginia

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Eric Salazar's 1-under 70 paced the Princeton men's golf team Monday at the first round the C&F Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary, where the Tiger stand tied for 16th overall.
Salazar is tied for fourth on the individual leaderboard but just one shot off the lead behind a trio of players at -2. Missouri holds the team lead at +4 in the 22-team field.
Princeton is at +18 with its scoring four players all shooting below 80 on the first of the tournament's two days. Patrick Wasserman and Chase Lovett-Woodsum both posted 77 while rookie Bernie D'Amato shot a 78.
