PINEHURST, N.C. -- Wonji Choi was the highest-finishing Tiger as the Princeton women's golf team placed 14th in an 18-team field at the Pinehurst Challenge Tuesday afternoon.
Florida State, the alma mater of Princeton head coach Amy Bond, dominated the field with a 1-under finish as a team to finish 33 shots ahead of Maryland.
Princeton was the northernmost team in the tournament and the only school north of Maryland competing. The field included five schools from the six major conferences, including Florida State, Maryland, North Carolina State, Minnesota and Illinois, all of which finished in the top 12.
Florida State's Lacey Agnew won medalist honors at 4-under, two shots ahead of the only other golfer with a red number, Maryland's Christine Shimel.
Choi had three sub-80 rounds to finish at +9, highlighted by a second-round 71 Monday afternoon. Princeton's results are below, and complete results are available at the PDF link.
