March 26, 2010 | Men's Tennis, Women's Tennis
PRINCETON -- Both Princeton teams will open Ivy League play Saturday against Penn, the women at home and the men in Philadelphia.
The 32nd-ranked women (13-5), top-ranked in the Northeast, will host Penn (4-8) in a noon start a day after defeating Rutgers for their seventh win over a team in the six major conferences and third over a Big East school.
The women's match will be in Jadwin Gym due to the mid-40s forecast for Saturday.
The men (4-10) are coming off a 4-3 victory over Florida Atlantic last weekend to close the spring break trip, while Penn (10-4) began the season winning eight in a row before losing four of its last six.
After the Penn matches, the Ivy League season will be decided over the next three weekends. Princeton's men will be home next weekend against Yale and Brown, while the women will be on the road against the same two teams, both of which are ranked in the ITA's top 75.
