Women's Water Polo Falls in League Opener at Bucknell

Princeton fell behind from the start and found itself playing catch up from the start. Bucknell led by as many as three in the first half, although the Tigers got the score within two by the half. Bucknell pulled the lead out to five in the third quarter and maintained that margin until the finish in the five-goal win.
Freshman Brittany Zwirner led the Princeton attack with three goals in the loss. Freshman classmates Saranna Soroka and Rachele Gyorffy scored twice in the game, along with senior Helen Meigs.
Princeton fell to 11-8 overall and 0-1 in the Southern Division with the loss. The Tigers have next weekend off before resuming play the second weekend in April with home league games against Bucknell, Maryland and George Washington.
