Women's Water Polo Team Tops Brown at Elite Eight

Princeton ahead with a four-goal first quarter and maintained its gap through the remaining 24 minutes in the two-goal win. Princeton lead 4-1 after a quarter and the score remained the same at half time.
Lauren Brunner scored two goals to lead the Tigers and five others added single goal. Kristen Ward made six saves for the win.
Princeton went 2-1 at the Elite Eight tournament, falling to Hartwick in the opener and then earning wins over Ivy rivals Harvard and Brown. Princeton is now 7-3 overall and has taken two of three meetings from Brown. The teams have played each other on each of the last three Sundays.
Princeton will travel west again next weekend, beginning its Spring Break trip at the San Diego State Invitational next Saturday and Sunday.
