Princeton, which defeated Maryland and George Washington on Saturday, completed the three-win weekend by topping the Bison in a low-scoring and defensive battle on Sunday.
Princeton and Bucknell traded first period goals before the Tigers pulled ahead with two goals in the second period. Princeton stretched its lead to 4-1 in the third quarter before Bucknell scored twice in the fourth in an attempt to come back.
Lauren Brunner led the Tigers with two goals in the win and Helen Meigs and Saranna Soroka had the other two Tiger goals. Kristen Ward made 12 saves in the cage.
Princeton is now 15-8 overall and 3-1 in the CWPA Southern Division. Princeton ranks second in the standings behind Bucknell, which now sits at 4-1 in league play. Princeton visits Maryland next Saturday and plays on Sunday at George Washington.
