PRINCETON (4/20/10) - Freshman Zak Hermans was named the Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week on Tuesday following his complete-game win over Columbia in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader.

The nod was the second of the season for Hermans, who is now 3-0 with a 2.84 ERA in his three Ivy League starts this season. Hermans scattered eight hits in Sunday's win and allowed just one earned run in the 9-3 win. Columbia added a pair of unearned runs in the final inning. Hermans also fanned four in the win and lowered his overall ERA to 6.51. Hermans has three of Princeton's four Ivy League wins this season.

Hermans and his Princeton teammates visit St. John's on Tuesday night and host Penn for a pair of doubleheaders this weekend.
