Let's Play Two: Baseball, Softball Take Center Stage In TigerCast

Heading into big road weekends before the start of Ivy League divisional play, the head coaches of Princeton baseball and softball — Scott Bradley and Trina Salcido — join the latest edition of TigerCast.

Bradley is in his 12th season and has led Princeton to more than 250 victories, as well as five Ivy League titles. His team opened Ivy League play last weekend with a pair of victories, including a 12-inning thriller over Harvard Saturday afternoon. Bradley talks about his squad, the parity in the Ivy League and how one player, who was once told he would never play one meaningful inning at Princeton, became a hero against Harvard.

Salcido is in her third season at Princeton and has already won an Ivy League title. Her young team has gotten off to a rocky start this season, but has a chance to right the ship this weekend with road doubleheaders at both Brown and Yale. Salcido talks about a pair of young pitchers in her program, as well as senior Jamie Lettire, who tied the all-time Princeton home run record last weekend.
