Princeton led 3-2 after a quarter as the Tigers looked to get a quick start on the seventh-ranked Wolverines, but Michigan overcame the deficit by outscoring Princeton 3-1 in the second quarter.
Southern Most Valuable Player Phoebe Champion scored three goals in the loss to lead Princeton, while Brittany Zwirner added a pair of goals. Kristen Ward made seven saves in goal.
The Tigers fall to 19-10 this season with the loss. Princeton will complete its season on Sunday against 11th-ranked Hartwick for third-place at 1 p.m
