Enhance Your Football Experience With New Gameday, Information Central
September 15, 2010 | Football
Fans of Princeton football have two new locations on GoPrincetonTigers.com to get all of their necessary information for both the 140th season of Tiger football and the 139 previous ones.
Princeton Information Central and Gameday Central pages are now live online and can be accessed in a couple of ways. There are links on the gray bar on top of the football team page (where you find the roster, schedule, stats, etc.), and there will be a scrolling link on the right side of the page, just below the news links.
Princeton Information Central
This page serves as an unofficial online media guide. There are three sections: The 2010 Princeton Tigers, This Is Princeton University and The Tradition Of Princeton Football.
The first section includes links for players, coaches, stats, facilities, academic faculty fellows and schedule/results. Anything you need to know about the current team can be found here.
The second section is about the University itself, including a list of undergraduate areas of study. For those interested in being members of future classes at Princeton, there is also a link to a recruiting questionnaire.
The third section is the most detailed and discusses the long, proud history of the program. These questions are among the many that can be answered with the click of your mouse.
• How many Hall of Famers came out of the program?
• What years did Princeton win national championships?
• What were the landmark moments over the last 140 years?
• Who were the all-time letterwinners and coaches?
• What were the all-time scores against each of Princeton's 2010 opponents?
• Who did the 1922 "Team of Destiny" beat during its perfect season?
• Who went on to play professional football from Princeton?
• Who holds Princeton's records for most rushing yards, or most passing touchdowns?
• What school won the Heisman Trophy in 1951? (hint: we aren't promoting other schools here)
The Information Central page should be useful and fun for both fans and media members who cover the program.links.
Princeton Gameday Central
Once again, every bit of information needed for the upcoming game can be found at the Princeton Gameday Central page. There is a season schedule at the top, and you can scroll the helmets for a direct link to each of the 10 football programs Princeton will meet this season.
Specific information about the coming game will be found on the right side of the page; it will include links for both teams (schedule, stats, notes, roster, etc.) and specific links for the game itself (weather forecast, live stats, live audio, Ivy standings, etc.).
There are also sections for updated video and news on the page.
