Men's Tennis to Host Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON -- The Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational will showcase competitors from 10 schools across the Northeast for the annual three-day men's tennis individual event this weekend.
Eleven Tiger players will compete against opponents from nine other schools, including Binghamton, Buffalo, Columbia, Cornell, Fairleigh Dickinson, Penn, Penn State, St. John's and Yale. The tournament will feature five singles draws and three doubles draws with play starting at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday before the final matches in each flight begin at 10 a.m. Sunday. Matches will be played at the Lenz Tennis Center with the indoor courts at Jadwin Gym available in the event of inclement weather.

The tournament begins the 2010-11 season for the Tigers, who last spring enjoyed their first winning Ivy League dual-match season since 2007.
