Women's Tennis Opens Play at Penn Tournament

PHILADELPHIA -- In its second tournament of the fall, the Princeton women's tennis team is off to a successful start at the Cissie Leary Invitational at Penn.
Monica Chow, Sarah Hoffman, Brett Ellen Keeler, Rachel Saiontz, Katherine Flanigan and Blakely Ashley are playing singles, with Ashley, Hoffman, Chow and Saiontz playing doubles as well.
Chow, Keeler and Saiontz won their first two singles matches to advance to the Round of 16 in the 64-player draw, while the Ashley/Hoffman and Chow/Saiontz duo won their first-round doubles matches in the round of 32.
The tournament will last through Sunday. Princeton's first-day results are below.
