Sept. 30 TigerCast: Holmes-Winn, Hoppenot and Morrissey
September 30, 2010 | Football, Men's Soccer
Kristen Holmes-Winn, Antoine Hoppenot and Eddy Morrissey join the Sept. 30 edition of TigerCast.
Holmes-Winn is the head coach of Princeton field hockey, which is coming off one of its best regular-season victories ever on Tuesday night. Princeton defeated top-ranked Maryland 4-2 to remain undefeated, and it will take on both Columbia and No. 14 American this weekend. Holmes-Winn talks about the Maryland victory, the team's progress already this season and Sunday's "Play 4 The Cure," which will help raise both funds and awareness in the battle against cancer.
Hoppenot is the reigning Ivy League Men's Soccer Player of the Week and the GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week after scoring four goals last weekend in the Princeton Invitational. His heroics helped the Tigers to a pair of much-needed wins over both Richmond and Adelphi, and he talks about how the team has built off the success now that it heads into the Ivy League season.
Morrissey is in his first season at the offensive line coach at Princeton, and he has helped an inexperienced squad come together fairly quickly this season. The football team is coming off a thrilling 36-33 double-overtime win over Lafayette, and Morrissey talks about both the impact of that game and the Columbia defense.
