Jan. 27 TigerCast: Swimmers Sarah Furgatch And Brett Lullo
January 27, 2011 | Men's Swimming and Diving, Women's Swimming and Diving
On the eve of H-Y-P week, swimmers Sarah Furgatch and Brett Lullo join TigerCast to discuss the importance of the meet and the current state of the Princeton swimming and diving programs.
Furgatch reached three individual finals at the 2010 Ivy League championship meet, the most for any Princeton freshman, and earned a win in the 400 IM last weekend against Dartmouth. She discusses the memories of her first HYP weekend, her earliest impressions of the current freshman class and what she has learned about the tradition of the program.
Lullo reached two championship finals during Princeton's victory at the 2010 Ivy League meet and has helped the Tigers to wins in each of the last two H-Y-P meets. He talks about overcoming a long layoff, preparing for important back-to-back meets (including a home meet next weekend against Navy) and the team's chance to win three straight Ivy League titles.
