PRINCETON, N.J. (1/3/11) - Lauren Edwards of the Princeton women's basketball team was named the Ivy League Player of the Week for the week ending January 2.

She matched her career-best of four three pointers in a game while adding three rebounds, three assists, one block and one assist. In a 67-61 win over Davidson, Edwards scored 11 points and seven rebounds. She added three assists and a block and a steal. After holding a 15-point lead Davidson cut the Tiger lead to just four points. But Edwards would step up hitting a jumper that sparked a 5-0 run to regain a nine-point lead with 1:34 to play.
This is Edwards' first Player of the Week honor this season, and second time in her career.
