Oct. 6 TigerCast: Jim Barlow and Andrew Aurich
October 06, 2011 | Football, General, Men's Soccer
A pair of former Princeton student-athletes who have moved into the coaching field, Jim Barlow (MSOC) and Andrew Aurich (FB), join the Oct. 6 edition of TigerCast.
Barlow, a member of the Princeton Class of '91, led Princeton to a perfect record in the Ivy League last season and has guided the Tigers to back-to-back NCAA Championships. The 2011 season has started off slowly for Princeton, though the team found its offense in a big way during a 7-3 victory over Seton Hall Tuesday night. Barlow talks about that game and its possible effects on an Ivy season that still has six games remaining.
Aurich, Class of '06, was an offensive lineman at Princeton, trying to open holes for the likes of running backs Jon Veach and Branden Benson. Now he coaches the Princeton running backs and talks about the development of underclassmen Brian Mills, who rushed for more than 100 yards and a touchdown last weekend, and Chuck Dibilio, who earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors after his collegiate debut.
