February 16, 2011 | Women's Lacrosse
The Princeton women's lacrosse team will host the Wales National Training Team in a scrimmage at Princeton Stadium on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 5:30 p.m.
The Wales team embarks on a week-long US tour that will includes competition with Adelphi, Brown Cabrini, Columbia, Farmingdale, Molly, Mount Saint Vincent, NYAC and Yale.
There has been much restructing of the Welsh program that finished sixth at the 2009 World Cup, including a new coaching staff. The program hopes to use this tour to prepare and develop internationally against high-level competition that is offered in the US.
Princeton will be the team's second game of the tour, as the Welsh team plays at Cabrini in the morning.
The Tigers officially kick off their 2011 season on Saturday, Feb. 26 hosting Johns Hopkins at 1 p.m.
