Women's Water Polo Falls in ECAC Semifinals to Maryland

Maryland won a see-saw battle between the teams. Maryland led by a goal after a quarter, the game was tied at the half, and Princeton held a one-goal lead after three quarters. The game was tied at 10 in the closing seconds and Maryland got the game winner with just five seconds left in regulation.
Katie Rigler scored three goals in the loss in her second three-goal outing of the day. Two of her goals came on ejections and the third on a counter. Brittany Zwirner, Tanya Wilcox and Lauren Brunner also added two goals apiece in the game. Zwirner had two assists to go along with her two goals. Molly McBee added a goal. Both teams were 3 for 5 with in man-up situations in the game.
Princeton falls to 4-2 with the loss. The Tigers will now face Harvard tomorrow afternoon in the third-place game at 1 p.m.
