Women's Water Polo Makes it Two-for-Two in California With Afternoon Win

Princeton trailed early in the nightcap but turned a first half deficit into a lead thanks to a four-goal third quarter. Princeton outscored the Roadrunners 4-1 in the quarter and 4-2 over the final 16 minutes in rallying for the win.
Brittany Zwirner, Audrey Zak and Katie Rigler each scored two goals in the win, while Cari Levine and Rachele Gyorffy both added goals. Molly McBee had three assists and three steals for Princeton and Rigler drew four ejections, including a 5-meter penalty, on which she scored her second goal. Zwirner also scored on a 5-meter shot. Princeton was 5 for 13 with the man advantage and scored on two 5-meter shots. The other goal Princeton scored was Levine's on a counter in the first quarter.
With the two wins, Princeton is now 8-4 overall. The Tigers continue the invitational on Sunday with games against fourth-ranked Hawaii and 10th-ranked San Jose State.
