Final Day of UMBC Softball Tournament Rained Out

CATONSVILLE, Md. -- Princeton's final game of the UMBC softball tournament, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. against host Maryland-Baltimore County, has been canceled due to rain.
Princeton went 1-2 at the tournament in its opening weekend of play, defeating Iona and losing to Liberty and Siena at the tournamnent. Nikki Chu and Candy Button were named to the event's 15-player all-tournament team.
The Tigers will begin their annually busy week of spring break play next weekend, opening at a Virginia-hosted tournament before playing midweek games at Georgetown and George Washington followed by a weekend tournament at Maryland.
