In Final Pre-Ivy Event, Men's Golf Heads to Century Tournament

In its final event before the Ivy League Championship next weekend, the Princeton men's golf team will head to Century Country Club in Purchase, N.Y. for the Century Intercollegiate event Saturday and Sunday.
Princeton is one of six Ivy League programs at the Yale-hosted event, along with Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard and Yale. Also in the field are two Atlantic 10 teams, Temple and George Washington. The event will have one round each day.
The event had previously been held in 2009 and 2010 at Caves Valley Golf Club outside Baltimore, Md. Princeton played in the 2010 event and finished second in the same field, just five shots behind Penn. Individually, now-sophomore Bernie D'Amato was the top-finishing Tiger, tying for sixth at +9.
The Ivy League Championship will be held April 22-24 at Galloway National Golf Club in Galloway, N.J.
