Men's Golf Stands Third at Century Tournament

PURCHASE, N.Y. -- Harvard, Yale and Princeton are the top three teams at the Century Intercollegiate tournament at the Century Country Club outside New York City.
Princeton senior Eric Salazar is one of three players, along with Temple's Devin Bibeau and Harvard's Seiji Liu, atop the individual leaderboard at +6, and Tiger freshman Greg Jarmas is the only player at +7. Princeton's Chase Lovett-Woodsum, playing as an individual in this event, is one of four players standing two shots off the lead at +8.
All seven Tigers are playing in the tournament, the team's last event before the Ivy League Championship next weekend. Rounding out Princeton's scoring five were Bernie D'Amato at +14 in a 26th-place tie, Evan Harmeling at +15 and tied for 30th, and Taylor Peck at +17 and tied for 37th. Patrick Wasserman, playing as an individual, is at +15 and tied for 30th.
Harvard ended the first round at +35 as a team, five shots in front of Yale and seven in front of the Tigers in the eight-school, nine-team field. George Washington, Brown, Cornell, Temple and a second Yale team round out the field.
