Golf Teams Complete First Round at Ivy Championship

Princeton's men's golf team is third and the women's team stands fifth through one round at the Ivy League Championship at two Atlantic City-area courses with two rounds to play over the weekend.
The men were 26-over as a team at Galloway National Golf Club, just four shots behind leader Yale and two shots behind Penn, with Dartmouth four shots behind Princeton and Brown, Columbia, Harvard and Cornell rounding out the team standings. Individually, Dartmouth's Peter Williamson stands at 2-under as the only player in red numbers, three shots in front of Princeton's Eric Salazar.
The women's team was 36-over on the first day at Atlantic City Country Club while Yale led the field at +22, three shots in front of Harvard and four in front of Penn. Columbia's Michelle Piyapattra was at even par, three shots ahead of Mia Kabasakalis of Harvard. Rachel Blum is tied for eighth as the top Tiger at +6.
